I’ve had few short lashes every since I was a kid. It’s not a pretty one I guess, since my eyelashes are only found at the center of the lids. I’m quite envious of kids which have longer and full eyelashes as compared to my barely-there lashes.
It is even more surprising once you knew those are boys that I’m talking about. Now that I’m in my 20’s and working, you’ll never guess what happened to my eyelashes.
They got fewer, more brittle, and I’m losing lashes at every moment. If you think my lashes got the horrible fate, wait until you see my brows, they’re nowhere to be found.
This is a terrible fortune, to have no hair in the face at all, not to mention that my hair is thin and also brittle. Well, at least my hair is still presentable. Eyelash growth is very slow plus it takes me months to grow the ones that fell.
Out of desperation, I opted to consult family and friends for an available solution to my eyelash and eye brow problem. Let me go through my journey on how I made my eyelash grow.
Trying Out Herbal Solutions
My mother suggested Aloe Vera to stimulate eyelash growth. Aloe Vera claimed to have hair regrowing properties that it has been one of the prominent ingredients in Shampoos and Conditioners.
I tried the Aloe Vera extract which I apply to my brows and eyelashes at night, for 3 months. Guess what? I did not notice a difference at all.
I was referred to an herbal eyelash growth product made in China. The clear solution is enclosed in a squeeze-in bottle which makes it easier when applying.
Considering it is an eyelash growth product from China, I didn’t expect more but I actually wanted to hope still. However after 2 weeks of using it, my lashes did not grow at all, and my eyes got irritated.
Maximizing my Make-up
After trying out a few herbal remedies, I lost faith in promising products. An alternative answer for my problem is the use of fake eyelashes.
The first I tried was the long lasting synthetic lashes attached to the true eyelashes. It looks good and I love the look I have with long eyelashes. Unfortunately, my brows did not like the sight. I tried putting mascara on my brows but it looked angrier at me than before.
Bottom line – it’s a temporary solution that makes you want for more or for the permanent one at least.
Expensive Eyelash growth products
I saw an eyelash growth product in an advertisement claiming to stimulate eyelash growth in a remarkable speed, it is called Idol Lash. It’s a small bottle with a brush that you use to apply on your lash ends.
After 2 months, I can see small growth of eyelashes at the rear sides of my lids. Plus, the lashes are longer! I’m so blessed to have tried this product and it saved my future life.
